Day 36

Went along to a photo shoot of my friend’s car. It was horrible weather, raining and windy and just cold, and I had to sacrifice my jacket to keep my camera dry while it was sitting on a makeshift tripod. This was taken in an alleyway in Hobart CBD, with my boyfriend and his friend running around with lights to paint the actual car in the shot. It was fun to get a chance to do something different with my camera

Played games. My days are not very productive.

Donated blood today. Didn’t really want to take a picture of a needle in my arm or a bag of blood so here is my donor card

My academic record from Uni arrived today! And here is official proof that I achieved the goal I set for myself after my first year - get on the Dean’s Roll of Excellence for the three years of my degree! Here it is - Dean’s Roll of Excellence with Honours!

Day 31

My Kindle and a book I’m also reading (Suite française by Irene Nemirovsky). A lot of people hate on Kindles and other eBook readers for a drop in book sales, but mine has prompted me to buy a lot more books, both paper and digital. 

Day 30

I bought a Gameboy SP so I could start a game on Pokemon Ruby! It arrived today! So pretty!

Day 29

Hot hot hot. My boyfriend and I took a trip to North Hobart during the evening to grab some ice cream. Yum.

Day 28

On the way to my Aunt and Uncle’s place where my Nan is living at the moment. She stayed with us again over the weekend. 

Day 27

I didn’t have a photo for the day, so I tried my hand at some long-exposure night shots in my backyard. My camera had a bit of trouble auto-focusing and I obviously couldn’t see a thing to manual focus so don’t look too hard at this :)
